Determining your level - Skiers
Take a minute to evaluate where your skills are according to this guide. Making sure you are in the
right lesson is the first step in enjoying yourself. If you are still not sure where you belong allow one
of our teaching pros to help - We're here to make your skiing experience fun!
Level One: First skiing experience
You have: Never skied before.
Level Two: Better basics
You have: Mastered the basics of balance. May or may not be riding the Pony or Bunny Tow.
Level Three: Wedge turning
You can: Make slight wedge turns on the Pony or Bunny Slopes and can ride the Pony or
Bunny Tow.
Level Four: Advanced Wedge Turns (must have "all area" lift ticket)
You can: Ski linked wedge turns. You feel comfortable skiing the Pony or Bunny Slopes and
are ready for a new challenge.
Level Five: Early Intermediate
You can: Ride the Chairlift and ski all green terrain. Speed is controlled by making linked
Wedge turns.
Level Six: Intermediate
You can: Bring your skis parallel at the end of your turn and feel comfortable on easiest
intermediate terrain.
Level Seven: Advanced Intermediate
You can: Your skis are parallel at the beginning of the turn and you feel comfortable on all
intermediate terrain and some groomed expert terrain.
Level Eight: The Fine Tuned Turn
You can: Ski on all terrain comfortably and in control.
Level Nine: Expert
You can: Ski on all terrain comfortably and in control.
